SUMMARY:2016 Icebreaker Tournament
DESCRIPTION:2016 Elk River Baseball Icebreaker Tournament\n\nThe Elk River Icebreaker tournament is a youth baseball tournament held every year on the first weekend of May.   This tournament is put on entirely by the volunteers on the Elk River Youth Baseball board.  The Icebreaker tournament is held at two locations\, the Youth Athletic Complex (12AA\, 12AAA and 14AAA divisions) and the Dave Andrews Athletic Complex / Orono Park (10AA\, 10AAA\, 11AA and 11AAA divisions).  It draws in teams from across the state from Rochester to the Twin Cities to Alexandria\, and in some years even teams from North Dakota and Winnepeg!   The top 2 teams in each age division are awarded a birth into the State Tournament.  This tournament is the largest fundraiser for the Youth Baseball Association\, and its revenue helps fund things such as fields\, field improvements\, equipment\, low registration fees\, and our Youth Baseball Facility.
