Currently we are seeking an experienced, versatile and highly motivated recruiter to fulfill staffing needs for two of our companies, Vision Transportation and Hoglund Body & Equipment. Vision Transportation is a student transportation company serving the Big Lake, Elk River, Rogers and Zimmerman communities. Hoglund Body & Equipment is located in Monticello and specializes in commercial vehicle and RV body repair. The ideal candidate will have some experience in one or both of these industries and play a key role in leading the recruiting team, screening/hiring of applicants and employee retention. 
Primary Responsibilities:
- Meet with managers to establish recruiting needs; study and create organizational plans and objectives based on those needs.
- Research and develop new strategies to advertise to our industry demographics.
- Streamline potential applicants through recruiting to hiring process with Human Resources.
- Organize, motivate and support internal recruiting team.
- Prepare and organize monthly recruiting meeting agendas and focus.
- Research and attend applicable local community events, Chamber of Commerce activities, business expos, job fairs, etc.
- Conduct presentations and outreach to local high schools, colleges, workforce centers, senior community centers, etc.
- Manage distribution of literature and other recruiting materials for team; suggests ideas and implement new and creative mediums.
- Collect, audit and organize documentation of efforts by recruiters and direct information to appropriate departments.
- Business to business stops, drops, literature exchange, postings, arranging vehicle and signage visibility, etc.
- Participate in professional organizations, attend educational seminars, conferences and classes, and read applicable publications.
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Education & Certifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
5 to 7 years recruiting experience
Valid driver’s license
Experience & Skills Required:
Strong phone skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Effective negotiating skills
Public speaking capability
Critical and creative thinking skills
Familiarity with applicant tracking software, job hunting websites
Ability to travel when necessary (local travel – 25-50%)
Working knowledge of school bus industry (preferred)
Working knowledge of auto body industry (preferred)

This position is base + commission. Base compensation DOE.
