The Old Town Ball game will be played at the Handke Stadium from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A Fashion Show will take place at 1:00 p.m. in downtown Elk River. The "Best Historic Costume" Contest will take place at 2:00 p.m. in downtown Elk River. Stop by the Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) booth at ArtSoup to purchase your autographed copy of the book "Images of America Elk River" by the author, Debra Mortensen.
You can also stop by the HPC booth to make a donation for the restoration of the Historic Elk River Water Tower which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in May 2012. Archaeological Dig Tour will take place at 3:00 p.m. If you would like to volunteer please call 763.635.1000. Take a walking tour of the historic downtown Elk River area, visit artists' booths and take in the concerts.
