PAINT THE TOWN PURPLE !!!!! Thursday, June 21
Help spread a message of hope. Join the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Elk River and 'PAINT THE TOWN PURPLE" one Thursday, June 21. Businesses, community organizations and individuals are being asked to show their support for Relay and help raise awareness for the fight against cancer by decking out the town including homes, restaurants, businesses, meeting halls or other areas in Purple.
We want everyone to see PURPLE and to think...Celebrate - Remember - Fight Back, the Relay for Life motto.
Whether you use purple chalk to write an uplifting message, display a different reminder each day about important cancer screening or decorate your business in Purple, it's all about letting people know that there is hope. The sky is the limit on what you can do to decorate and send that mesage.
Teams are asked to wear their Relay gear or dress in PURPLE and come downtown to the concert in the park.
