Central MN Mental Health Center has an opportunity in our Elk River Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team for a Mental Health Practitioner: Vocational Specialist. The Mental Health Practitioner is an active member of an evidenced-based clinical team, providing treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified recipients with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). The Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Implement services in the treatment plan for each recipient under clinical supervision
- Complete assessments and maintain client documentation
- Coordinate services with other programs and providers
- Provide or facilitate the provision of vocational services to clients
- Serves as a consultant and educator to fellow ACT team members on these services; and should not refer individuals to receive any type of vocational services or lineage by providers outside of the ACT team
The wage range for this position is $22.00-$26.40. The starting salary for each application will be based on years of experience for the position.
This position would include some evening and weekend shifts and an on-call rotation.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- The Mental Health Practitioner shall meet the qualifications defined in Minnesota Statue 245.462 subdivision 17
- Experience and training in behavioral learning techniques, rehabilitation theory and practice
- Clear DHS background study and sexual exploitations screening
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
