The Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce is in the market for the perfect fit to join our staff.  The ideal candidate will be outgoing, confident and ready to grow their career by making an impact on the local business scene. When you work for the chamber, you will be in the know about local development and learn best practices on how businesses succeed.  We are looking for you if you are passionate about the communities we serve and an outside the box problem solver with a creative funny bone. 
 
The basics we are looking for include:

  • Magical relationship skills
 
A typical day – which usually never happens – will have you sharing success stories with budding entrepreneurs, building digital and face to face relationships, planning and executing marketing programs, working with business volunteers, collaborating with team members, celebrating wins big and small, and other ordinary tasks that accompany any office job such as answering the phone, program management, record keeping, plan making, content writing and keeping the computers running.
