District 23, Fall Rut Grand Finale

Description

Hare scrambles races are off-road competition events. Unlike an enduro, all riders in a single class start on the same row, and the event is an all-out race to the finish. They are conducted on several-mile-long marked courses through woods or desert and over rugged natural terrain. The racers keep doing laps on the course until the leader either completes a pre-determined number of laps or has raced for a pre-determined amount of time, usually two hours. Competitive riders not only need to be fast, but also physically fit enough to maintain a race pace for hours.

Cross country or hare scrambles races can include tight woods, big hills and field sections. Although similar in terrain, in general they are more open than a typical enduro.

We have a ton of series prizes including Kenda tires, EKS Brand goggles, Fasstco Flexx handlebars and AMSOIL lubes that will be awarded to class winners and by random drawing.

We will also have the MX of Nations playing on the large monitors in the chalet.

The fall race will feature full use of the arena in front of the chalet, over a mile of new single track and over a mile of new terrain through scenic peat pits and ponds not used in the spring race. A/B riders will also be making a trip through our new "Thunder Alley"

Pre-entered riders will have a dedicated line at signup with no paperwork and no waiting. Bring your AMA and D23 cards and helmet with transponder or you will have to get in line with everyone else.
