About Us
Open Doors for Youth is a drop-in center for youth ages 16-24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability in Elk River and surrounding communities.
We provide a safe and welcoming place at our center, where young people can get assistance with immediate needs. We make connections to service providers in the community who help them with goals in the areas of employment, education, housing, and well-being.
Recognizing that each person has unique needs, experiences, abilities and dreams, we meet the youth where they are in life and walk with them on their personal journey toward greater stability and well-being.
