2021 New Business of the Year Winner: TAKEOFF Nutrition

This award is aimed at companies that have been in business for less than five years and have demonstrated innovation, creativity and is on the path to outstanding success. To receive the award, the business must be an Elk River Area Chamber member in good standing.

This year’s New Business of the Year goes to TAKEOFF Nutrition. Takeoff Nutrition was opened by owner Jane Matthys in June of 2018. After using the product to improve her own health, Jane decided that she needed a change from her career in healthcare working as an urgent care manager. TAKEOFF Nutrition provides a health fast=food option for everyone, as well as business opportunities for those who are interested. They donate, sponsor, and actively volunteer in the Elk River Community. The nominator for this award, Danyell said, “Each morning I’m greeted by Jane and her team always with a smile. They get to know each customer and make sure they feel welcomed. Jane is a major supporter to many local charities and provides a great safe hang out for many teenagers.” Congratulations to TAKEOFF Nutrition for being names New Business of the Year.
