What best practices for employee retention to you have in place?

We seek feedback both up and down the organization. We recognize they’ve got a career that might not be in Accounting, but in their own field and we want to help them succeed. We believe in open communication and work with each person’s strengths. We intentionally build a team and realize our people are people.

What do you look for in great employees?

Someone who is creative and ambitious that will take responsibility and wants to learn and grow.

Tell us about your employee recognition programs.

We like to recognize our employees on social media, whether it’s for their work anniversary or birthday. We host an employee BBQ each year to say thank you to our employees.

On behalf of all of us at ERACC, congratulations to Sean Riley and the team at Riley Martin CPA on its nomination for Employer of the Year!
