Bags of Smiles 14th Annual Golf Tournament

Tournament Details:

$100 per player includes:

• 1pm shotgun start (rain or shine)
• 18 Holes of Golf
• A Golf Cart (optional)

The annual golf event over the past 14 years has brought in over $220,000 for Bags of Smiles, all of which are used to purchase supplies to fill the bags.  Your support is needed now more than ever as demand has tripled during these difficult times.  Since our bags are an item for the patients to keep with them and take home, they are one of the few donation items that are still being accepted by the hospitals.  

Through our primary fundraising events (the Annual Golf Tournaments, Spring and Summer and the Bowling Event), Bags of Smiles have prepared and delivered over 18,000 Bags of Smiles to children being treated at the following locations:

Bags of Smiles are filled with high-quality items that are packed by age group including both boy and girl bags.  They are separated by the age ranges of 0 to 2,  3 to 6, 7 to 11, and 12+ years old.

Most importantly - all items are hospital approved and Smile tested!

About the Course

Elk River Golf Club is located just 45 minutes northwest of downtown Minneapolis. It is a member-owned, championship course extending playing privileges to the public.

Golf at Elk River Golf Club consists of an 18-hole, championship par 72 course that offers a variety of challenges and topography found nowhere else in the area. Elk River's lush fairways, small well-kept greens, oak woods, meandering creek, and strategically placed water hazards accommodate the novice, yet challenge the accomplished golfer.

Elk River Golf Club's small-elevated greens place a premium on accuracy and shotmaking. It is not unusual to have used every club in the bag during a round of golf here.
