In order to “Create Something Extraordinary,” your team must be “all in!” A major cause of employee turnover, dissatisfaction, and disengagement is due to a lack of trust. Trust is the foundation of all great teams. Improvisation training equips teams with tools to creatively solve issues facing today’s business environment. By applying this short, easy, and FUN program, you will see immediate benefits in morale and engagement.
Many people recognize improvisation as a popular form of comedy. However, improve is also an effective tool to train professional teams; teaching attendees how to fully support each other even while communicating under difficult circumstances.
Improvisational exercises challenge participants to be fully engaged and “in the moment,” strengthens active listening skills, and promotes flexibility and adaptability. This hands-on approach encourages attendees to be authentic and engaged, and allows them to experiment and create without judgment. Through the improv concept of “Yes, and…” attendees will learn how to increase team effectiveness and productivity through the power of “YES!”
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of training, attendees will learn basic strategies and techniques of improv, which will encourage participants to strengthen trust among their teams by:
- Living fully in the moment by employing engaged listening skills,
- Placing team above self,
- Interpreting body language and non-verbal signals,
- Developing a flexible mindset which promotes adaptability and growth,
- Creating an environment where team members are engaged, collaborative, and empowered to add value.
