Meet Australian Author: Jacinta Maree and local Author/Publisher Heather Savage
Topic: Digital Publishing vs. Traditional Publishing, plus both will be signing copies of their books!
Is the old on it's way out? If you're a reader, writer, or just have two eyes and ears you might have noticed a change in the way some read books. Well, it's not just the reading that's changing, it's publishing too. Fifteen years ago, the way we published was straightforward: get an agent, get published by a traditional publisher..., that's it. Now we have self-publishing, small independent publishers, agents, no agents, it's all up in the air. What works? What doesn't? Come find out and discuss it with two published authors: Jacinta Maree, author of My Demonic Ghost, and HK Savage, author of several books, most recently, Second Sight, Book 1 of The Admiral's Elite.
Heather is the owner/publisher of Staccato Publishing & her new digital imprint, Darkest Night Publishing. She has sold thousands of e-books, so she knows what's she is talking about!
