Diesel Mechanic-2nd Shift
Plaisted Companies is seeking a skilled, heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic to join our evening shift team. If you have experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and are looking for a stable, rewarding career, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Perform routine services like oil changes, brake repairs, and tire maintenance
- Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues
- Perform test drives and service calls for emergency breakdowns as needed.
- Keep maintenance records and work in a clean, organized environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a diesel mechanic
- Certifications: AAS Diesel Technician
- Skills: Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- License: CDL (preferred but not required)
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings and occasional overtime

Requirements
- Able to pass a 5 Panel Drug Test (urinalysis)
- Able to pass a back and extremity medical exam
- Own your own tools
*Prior Diesel Mechanic experience is required*
