169 Works!, a free hiring event for job seekers along the Highway 169 corridor, comes to the Furniture & Things Community Event Center in Elk River on Saturday, November 21, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
The event is built to get people hired, not just handed brochures. Every participating employer posts real openings with pay ranges before the event and brings someone who can interview on the spot. Job seekers attend free, with paper applications, application help, and ASL interpreting available.
A Saturday event reaches people who can't get to a weekday job fair, including working parents, people changing careers, and anyone looking for a better fit closer to home. Organizers expect 15 to 25 employers and 75 to 150 job seekers.
Chamber members who are hiring can reserve an employer table for $150 through October 15 ($250 after). Sponsorships are also available. To reserve a table or learn more, email Heather Grizzle at heather@novaracg.com.
