Description
The Friends of Sherburne NWR Be Wild Campaign for Youth Nature Education is well underway. Thanks to the amazing generosity of Friends and community members, more than $162,000 has been committed to our effort to raise $250,000 to furnish Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge’s new Oak Savanna Learning Center and provide outside exploring and learning spaces for students and visitors of all ages. We think that you, as a community leader, will be interested in this project and may also decide to support it.
We are pleased to announce that another community leader recently gave us extra incentive to meet our fundraising goal. Princeton-based Prairie Restorations, Inc. has issued a challenge: Raise another $25,000 by year-end and we will match each new gift dollar for dollar up to $25,000! So far we’ve raised $8,000 toward this challenge match, but we need the support of people like you to get us the rest of the way. We invite you to join us...
