2021 Large Business of the Year Winner: Distinctive Iron

This award will feature a business who has exhibited outstanding initiative, leadership and organizational skills which produce significant results that benefit our community. Such qualities may include excellence in customer service, sustainability practices, track record of growth including local investment and support of community organizations. To receive the award, the business needs to have been in business for at least five years and be an Elk River Area Chamber member in good standing.

Distinctive Iron is the year's Large Business of the Year which is fitting as they celebrate their 10th year anniversary in business. As a family-owned business that started in 2011 in the Elk River Area, they have grown and expanded three times. They believe strongly in supporting their local Elk River business and have been active with the Chamber for 4 years with Cindy Hemmer serving as a board chair member. Their donations to local organizations, their volunteer work in the community, their support in nurturing the future manufacturing work-force, and their dedication to the Elk River Area and Chamber of Commerce shows how deserving they are to be named Large Business of the Year.
