Lead Screen Printer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Screen Printer/Shop Technician to join our team. As a Screen Printer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality prints on various surfaces using screen printing techniques. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of design principles. Prepress and postpress duties included. As a Shop Technician, you will be aiding in a variety of jobs at the sign shop as needed.

Duties:

- Prepare screens by applying emulsion and creating stencils

- Mix and prepare inks for printing

- Set up and operate screen printing equipment

- Load and unload materials onto the printing press

- Ensure accurate registration of designs

- Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed

- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the printing process

- Clean and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Collaborate with the design team to ensure artwork meets printing requirements

- Pre and Post Press duties

-Loading and unloading machines, weeding vinyl, prepping for vehicle wraps and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Previous Screen Printing Experience Auto/Manual

- Strong artistic skills with an eye for detail

- Familiarity with different types of inks and substrates

- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines

- Excellent color perception and matching skills

- Strong problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot technical issues
