Anoka County Career Fair April 9

            Anoka County’s annual Career Fair is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, at Anoka Technical College, 1355 U.S. Hwy. 10, Anoka. The event is free and open to the public.
 

            Representatives from more than 110 exhibitors offering multiple job opportunities will be attending the event, including professionals in construction/trades, education, government, healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, staffing, technology, transportation, and warehouse sectors.
 

            “Hiring events like this one, sponsored by the Anoka County Job Training Center and Anoka Technical College, offer opportunities to connect with employers and learn about jobs in a way that just isn’t available when you’re searching and applying for jobs online,” said District 4 Anoka County Commissioner Scott Schulte, who serves on the county’s Workforce Development Board. “The yearly success of this event proves time and time again that it helps members in our community who are looking for their right professional fit.”
 

            Event partners include the Anoka County Job Training Center, Anoka-Ramsey Community College, Anoka Technical College, Career Force, and Bob FM.
