Elk River Area Chamber to Host Candidate Forums for Local Races

The Elk River Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a series of six candidate forums for key local elections, providing community members the opportunity to engage with candidates for various races.

These forums will focus on economic conditions and business priorities that impact the local community. Candidates will respond to questions posed by moderators reflecting the priorities of the Elk River Area Chamber.

The Elk River Area Chamber does not assume any party affiliation, nor do we endorse any candidate. We are hosting this forum to provide information about the candidates to the public. Since this is a public information forum and not a campaign event, we respectively request that all campaign signs, flyers and buttons or badges not be displayed during the forum.

Each forum will begin with a 30-minute "Meet and Greet" session, allowing attendees to interact directly with the candidates.

Legislative District 30 House Representatives | Meet & Greet: 5:30 PM | Forum: 6:00 PM

Sherburne County Commissioners | Meet & Greet: 5:30 PM | Forum: 6:55 PM.
City of Elk River Council | Meet & Greet: 5:30 PM | Forum: 7:45 PM

- Wednesday, October 9 @ Zimmerman City Hall, 12980 Fremont Ave, Zimmerman. City of Zimmerman. Council & Mayor | Meet & Greet: 5:30 PM | Forum: 6:00 PM

- Thursday, October 10 @ Otsego Prairie Center, 8899 Nashua Ave NE, Otsego.
City of Otsego Council & Mayor (two forums) | Meet & Greet: 5:30 PM | Forums start at: 6:00 PM

All forums will be recorded and made available on the Chamber's website and YouTube channel, allowing those unable to attend to view the sessions and stay informed. These forums are open to the public, and the Chamber encourages local residents to attend and learn more about the candidates running for office.
