Otsego fire and emergency services station groundbreaking set
A groundbreaking ceremony for Otsego’s new fire and emergency services station is set for 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28.
The station will be built at the southwest corner of Odean Avenue and 75th Street.
The facility is envisioned as a centralized hub for fire protection, emergency medical services, disaster response operations and other public safety services and functions.
The station is expected to be finished in 2026 with the new department slated to be operational on Jan. 1, 2027.
Otsego currently contracts for services with the Albertville, Elk River and Rogers fire departments.
