Sherburne County announces a no-cost workplace wellness effort to help employers

Sherburne County is pleased to announce a no-cost workplace wellness effort to help employers develop or build upon existing employee/workplace wellness initiatives.

Employers throughout Benton, Sherburne, and Stearns Counties may apply to join the “Tri Wellness at Work” collaborative beginning in January 2025 to learn how to create a ‘culture of health’ throughout their workplace, to better support healthy behaviors for all employees.

Investing in the health of employees is an important step an employer can take to increase productivity, decrease absenteeism, improve morale, and better manage health care costs. Plus, most of the best practice recommendations take little to no financial resources on the part of your organization – just staff time to plan and implement.

Any size employer is welcome to apply. Whether your organization has a wellness initiative in place or is new to this type of work, we invite you to learn more. We have enclosed our program flyer which includes more details to help you determine your organization’s fit for the project.
